Effective August 20, 2026. This policy explains how Stangmedia Arcade handles information when you browse, play a game, use an existing account, or contact us. New public account registration is currently disabled.
Information we collect
Information you provide may include your email address, display name, password hash, profile preferences, support messages, favorites, game history, and submitted high scores. Passwords are not stored in readable form.
Technical information may include IP address, browser and device type, referring page, requested URLs, approximate region, timestamps, cookie identifiers, and interaction or performance events. Recently played games and preferences may also be stored locally in your browser.
How we use information
- Operate accounts, authentication, password resets, favorites, history, and scores.
- Deliver, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Understand traffic and feature usage.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and unauthorized access.
- Respond to support and legal requests.
- Display and measure advertising when enabled.
Consent before optional tracking
After a neutral age-group selection, analytics, additional advertising purposes, and GamePix connections remain disabled unless an eligible visitor enables the relevant category. Required cookies support security, saved consent, sign-in, and core functions. Visitors under 13 and browsers using Global Privacy Control have every optional category locked off. Visitors ages 13 to 15 may choose optional categories, but Google teen advertising protections continue to apply.
Stangmedia initially requests contextual, non-personalized, or limited Google ads. Requests for visitors under 13 receive Google's child age treatment; requests for visitors ages 13 to 15 receive Google's teen age treatment. These treatments disable personalized ads and remarketing. Google may present its own certified consent message in regions where an additional advertising consent framework is required.
When advertising is delivered, Google and advertising vendors may receive an IP address, browser or device information, page URL, referring information, cookie identifiers where permitted, and interaction or advertising events. Google advertising settings are available through Google Ads Settings.
Providers and sharing
Embedded games may send technical information to their provider under that provider’s privacy practices. We do not sell account information. Limited information may be shared with providers that help host, secure, analyze, email, or monetize the site; when required by law; or to protect users and the service.
Your U.S. privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers Stangmedia, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccurate information, delete information, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Stangmedia does not exchange account information for money. Optional advertising remains off until affirmative consent, and supported universal opt-out signals are honored.
Submit a privacy request through our secure request form. We verify the request email before review. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law. We will not discriminate against a person for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Appealing a decision
If we deny or limit a privacy request, submit an appeal and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and provide a written response. Where applicable, the response will explain how to contact the appropriate regulator or attorney general.
Children and teenagers
Stangmedia is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. Visitors who identify themselves as under 13 should use the site with a parent or guardian. Their optional categories are locked off, and any Google ads requested receive child age treatment and are not personalized. Visitors ages 13 to 15 may choose optional site categories, while Google teen ad protections continue to disable personalized advertising and remarketing. New account creation is disabled while age-assurance and parental-consent requirements are evaluated.
Communications and session monitoring
Stangmedia does not intentionally use session-replay software, keystroke recording, chat interception, or hidden audio or video recording. Ordinary hosting and security logs may record requests needed to deliver and protect the service. Optional third-party analytics and advertising do not load until consent as described above.
Data security and retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including password hashing, session controls, limited database access, and encrypted transport. No system is perfectly secure.
- Consent and age-group preferences: up to 180 days.
- Unverified privacy requests: deleted after 30 days.
- Verified privacy-request records: retained for 24 months after closure, then contact details and message text are de-identified.
- Temporary exports created to answer a request: deleted within 30 days after delivery.
- Password-reset links: expire after one hour; old records are deleted within 30 days.
- Account profile, favorites, play history, and scores: retained while the account is active or until deletion is completed, subject to limited security, legal, and backup needs.
- Ordinary server security logs: normally retained no longer than 90 days unless an incident or legal obligation requires longer preservation.
Third-party providers apply their own retention schedules to information they receive.
